landing page, passenger mobile app, driver mobile app, and backend
services that support booking, route matching, trip management,
booking history, driver income statistics, and account operations.

passengers and drivers to find suitable trips, show nearby vehicles,

logs, connection status, system errors, notification tokens,
performance data, and diagnostics needed to operate the service.

User-provided content: cancellation reasons,
support notes, and information submitted through contact or
customer support forms.
3. Location permission and trip tracking
The app needs location permission to provide the core ride sharing
service. For passengers, location helps identify pickup points,
routes, and suitable vehicles. For drivers, location helps determine
routes, update active trips, send realtime location through the
system, and support review of booking cancellation or completion
cases.
The driver app may request background location permission while a
driver is online or running a trip so the route can continue to be
updated. You can disable location permission in your operating system
settings, but features such as accepting passengers, creating trips,
or tracking rides may not work correctly.
4. Photos, documents, and driver profiles
The driver app may request photo access so drivers can upload avatars,
documents, or profile materials for driver verification. These images
are used only for profile review, account operations, and service
safety.
5. Notifications
We may send notifications about bookings, driver acceptance, trip
status changes, operational alerts, and important service updates.
You can turn off notifications in your operating system settings, but
this may cause you to miss information required for a trip.
6. How we use data
- Create, authenticate, and protect accounts.
- Match bookings with suitable drivers and trips.
- Display, update, and complete bookings or trips.
- Manage trip history, driver income, and platform fees.
- Review driver profiles and eligibility to accept passengers.
- Send operational notifications and support users.

- Improve service stability, performance, and quality.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared when necessary:

8. Advertising tracking
Xe Ghep Viet currently does not use personal data to track users
across third-party apps or websites for behavioral advertising. If our
data practices change, we will update this policy and App Store
Connect disclosures before applying the change.
9. Storage and security
Login tokens are stored in secure device storage where available.
Backend data is stored on server infrastructure used to operate the
service. We apply reasonable access controls, system logging, and
technical safeguards to reduce risks of loss, unauthorized access, or
misuse.
Data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service, handle
disputes, perform reconciliation, maintain security, comply with law,
or meet accounting and operational obligations.
10. Your rights
- Request access to, updates to, or correction of account information.
- Withdraw location, photo, or notification permissions in device settings.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data that is no longer required.
- Contact us with questions about how we process your personal data.
If an app allows account creation, users must have a way to initiate
account deletion in the app under Apple requirements. While the full
automated flow is being completed, you may contact us using the
details below for support.
11. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13. Users who are not
old enough to be legally responsible under local rules should use the
service only with consent from a parent or guardian.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, data processing practices,
or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on
this page and will take effect from the stated date unless otherwise
noted.
13. Information for App Store Connect
App Privacy disclosures in App Store Connect may need to include:
Contact Info such as name and phone number; User ID; Precise or
Coarse Location; User Content such as profile/document photos and
support notes; purchase or transaction-related information if fees
apply; Usage Data and Diagnostics if logs or analytics are used for
operations. These data types are primarily used for App Functionality,
Fraud Prevention, Security, and Customer Support.
